Linking your Social Media Accounts

Linking your Facebook or Twitter accounts to the Schoolzine Control Centre allows you to quickly and easily send out your newsletter to Social Media.

Facebook

1. Log in to your Control Centre and select the Settings menu tab.
2. Once expanded, select Social Media Accounts.
3. Click the Connect to Facebook button.
4. A Facebook Connection pop-up will appear that outlines what permissions Schoolzine will need. Click Proceed.
   Note: Linking your account does not give Schoolzine access to your account. It simply allows you to post status updates from your Schoolzine Control Centre straight to your Facebook page.
5. Log in to your Facebook account and follow the permission prompts.
6. Select your school’s Facebook account.
   Note: You must be the administrator of your school’s Facebook account for it to appear in the list.
7. Now that your account is linked you are able to start sharing your newsletters to Facebook.

Twitter

1. Log in to your Control Centre and select the Settings menu tab.
2. Once expanded, select Social Media Accounts.
3. Click the Connect to Twitter button.
4. Log in to your Twitter account.
   Note: Linking your account does not give Schoolzine access to your account. It simply allows you to post Tweets from your Schoolzine Control Centre straight to your Twitter page.
5. Now that your account is linked you are able to start sharing your newsletters to Twitter.
