Uploading SZ eNews Content

Once your newsletter content is all ready to go, you can upload it through your Control Centre. Once we have received your content, your newsletter will enter our Production queue to be built.

Some important information regarding newsletter build times:

• Your first upload should contain at least 80% of your newsletter.
• Your build time begins from the time that your word document is uploaded.
• The build time for newsletters uploaded outside of business hours will begin from the start of business the next day.

Before you Upload

Make sure that before you upload your content, you have prepared your image and attachment folders.

Resize your Images

Make sure that you have resized all of your images and galleries. The easiest way to do this is through the Schoolzine Image Resizer. Large files may experience lengthy upload times, and if the file size is too big, you will not be able to upload it at all.

Zip your Folders

Zipping your folders allows you to upload multiple files at once. It is not necessary to zip a single file such as the Schoolzine Newsletter Template.

Zipping folders on PC

1. Right click on the folder.
2. Click on Send To in the menu.
3. Select Compressed (zipped) Folder from the sub menu.

Zipping folders on Mac

1. Right click on the folder.
2. Click on Compress Items in the menu.

Uploading your Newsletter

1. Log in to your Control Centre and select the eNewsletters menu tab.
2. Once expanded, select View SZ Newsletters.
3. Locate the newsletter you wish to upload content for.
4. Click the Newsletter Name.
5. Select the Start Upload button.
6. Upload your completed Schoolzine Newsletter Template.
   Note: Only .doc, .docx and .rtf files are accepted.
7. Upload your zipped Image and Attachment folders. The maximum file size for uploads is 150 MB.
8. Once a file has finished uploading, you will see the file appear in the Uploaded Files at the bottom of the screen.
9. When you have uploaded all of your newsletter content, click the Submit Newsletter button.
   Note: You will not be able to submit the newsletter if you have not uploaded a word document.
